Experience in America

I have already been in The United States for almost 2 years. I remembered that I was so sad because I do not have family, and friends here. Later on, I met more people and they helped me a lot. Although my English skills were not good, they tried to get what I was talking about. Also, I could not understand what professors were talking about. I kept asking myself, why I am here. I stressed and blamed myself because I did not prepare my English for studying abroad. Then I created goals for myself for every month. I wanted to know if my English skills were getting better.

When things were going better, my adviser told me that I need to find an internship to graduate. I found it is really hard to get an internship without connections, transportation, and not having the ability to speak very good English. I tried to send my resume to some banks and business firms, but it did not go well. I was so disappointed about myself. Finally, a friend of my professor linked me to Mr. Kevin Connolly and Mr. Allen Dembski, Managing Partners of Buffalo First Wealth Management LLC. They said it is not fair for me if I do not have a chance, and then they allowed me to do internship at their financial firm. Now, I am doing internship at Buffalo First Wealth Management LLC, and I hope that I can help our firm with my abilities. I will try hard and wish everything will go better.
