As a University at Buffalo intern at Buffalo First this summer has been a valuable learning experience. I have been able to not only learn more about finance and making investments but a lot about the world of business. Whether I was meeting new people or working on a project, the internship was always fresh and interesting.
I recently sat down with my supervisor and gave him a list of goals that I plan on achieving at Buffalo First. They included a few important objectives I wanted to complete and my supervisor Al Dembksi, was extremely accommodating. He has reiterated how he wants me to get the most I can out of this internship and to always be asking questions and stay curious. Buffalo First is a company I am glad I became a part of. Kevin Connolly, Al Dembski, and Dr. Jim Smith have been great mentors to me. The tasks they assigned me have been challenging but the hard work has ended up extremely rewarding.
Now I can take what I learned and apply it to my classes in the fall. I am thrilled I was able to work in an environment like the one at Buffalo First and would recommend the company to a person looking for their service or a career.
